Niko Armstrong-Watts joins United Way of Southwest Virginia as the Youth Programs Coordinator for the Youth Leadership & Civic Engagement Initiative. Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Human Services, with minors in Digital Media and Graphic Design, and Master of Education in Educational Leadership from East Tennessee State University.
Throughout his career, Niko has worked in education, community mental health, and nonprofit settings, supporting youth through program coordination, community outreach, case management, and student engagement initiatives. He is passionate about building strong community partnerships and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and develop confidence in their abilities.
Niko lives in the Bristol area with his family, dog, and cats. Outside of work, he enjoys creating art, making music, and volunteering with local nonprofit organizations.
