Lacey Bishop is a Social Worker who has experience in working with children and families within the child welfare system. She holds a Master of Social Work from Radford University. Through professional experience at a local Department of Social Services, Lacey has worked closely with foster children and families, gaining insight into the unique challenges faced by vulnerable populations. Prior to Lacey starting her career in Social Work, she worked within the daycare system for five years. During this time, Lacey was about to provide direct care to infants and young children while building a strong foundation in early childhood development and family engagement.

Lacey is passionate about advocacy, equity, and compassionate care for mothers and infants within Southwest Virginia. She is dedicated to empowering families and strengthening support networks in the New River Valley for maternal and infant health.

Lacey was born and raised in Montgomery County, Virginia. She loves to spend her time being surrounded by her family, friends, and church. Lacey also likes to read and sing.
