Dickenson County 2022 Disaster Relief

When floodwaters swept through portions of Dickenson County, Va., on July 28, 2022, United Way of Southwest Virginia was quick to offer assistance.

United Way of Southwest Virginia has activated the Dickenson County 2022 Flood Relief Fund to assist flood victims in the long process of repairing and rebuilding homes that were damaged by the flood.

In addition, United Way of Southwest Virginia is working with Dickenson Countians to stand up a long-term recovery group, which will help coordinate volunteer efforts and donations to ensure every dollar sent to aid the flood-affected residents of Dickenson County will be used efficiently and effectively.

DONATIONS

United Way of Southwest Virginia has activated a Dickenson County 2022 Disaster Relief fund to assist those impacted by the flooding. All donations to the Dickenson County 2022 Disaster Relief will go directly to support those impacted by the Dickenson County 2022 flood.

This fund is separate from other disaster relief funds activated by United Way of Southwest Virginia.

United Way of Southwest Virginia works with authorities and partners in Dickenson County to distribute funds.
