Former Kmart building in Abingdon to transform into regional workforce and child development hub

ABINGDON, Va. (WCYB) — The former Kmart building in Abingdon is set to have a new life - fulfilling several needs in the Southwest Virginia region.

On Thursday, Gov. Glenn Youngkin got an inside look at the building that is undergoing a transformation to become a regional workforce and child development hub.
